Dash the Riolu v4

    At first Dash had a rather carefree personality living around the edges of Sinnoh (bottom left of the map) on a secluded mountain range with his father where he honed his natural martial art skills. Dash had two friends, the future Gym Leader Maylene (a Meditite), his girlfriend Marina (a Vaporeon). Dash is very adept in fighting and with intense uninterrupted training he managed to teach himself aura sphere and how to implement his natural abilities to manipulate aura into his physical attacks. Not even a month after he turned thirteen Dash's home was savagely attacked by a group of Pokemon with a disturbingly dark aura and unnatural abilities such as being able to use dark aura related powers one would only expect from a Darkrai. These Pokemon were sent on a mission by Nocturne to capture Dash alive, everyone else was fair game. The Pokemon's new dark powers made them far too powerful for Dash, his friends or the nearby natives to stop. Most of them were killed or captured during the ensuing battle. Unfortunately among the masses Marina was mortally wounded and killed by the strike team's leader (a Weavile), this caused a disturbing reaction in him resulting in a rush of power through overwhelming feelings of rage. Despite the boost in power he was still weakened prior. Before he could be properly restrained Dash was inadvertently knocked of the cliff-side and into a current that swiftly carried him out of Nocturne's grasp. Dash washed up on the beach of Sandgem Town where he recovered and began his doomed journey home to locate his father and Maylene. He did not get far, Nocturne set a perimeter around his home to prevent enter or exit. He was forced to abandon the search to avoid capture. He traveled deep into the forest outside of Jubilife City where he took temporary refuge, hoping to reunite with his friend and father once again, if they were alive anyway. Dash's hopes did not last long, his temporary hideout turned into a year and a half stay and all he could think about was exacting vengeance on the aggressors who quite likely killed everyone he cared about. These vengeful thoughts ultimately changed his personality from carefree and nice to cold, brutal and generally unfriendly, and his aura often radiates a muddy red from the pent up rage he had kept dormant for so long. At this point Dash would do almost anything to pay the villains back for what they did which will likely end in their deaths, Dash however has no intelligence of Nocturne's connection to the attack at this point. The only thing he can hold onto to remind him of home was his hat that his father gave him as a gift for his thirteenth birthday but that alone is not enough to provide hope when there is not even a sign that anyone besides him survived. 

    Dash serves as one of the main protagonists in the story, he was born with a strange mark on his chest in which at first was simply considered to be an unique birthmark, however there is a much more interesting story with regarding it. Dash was also born with the ability Justified, he is the first of his kind (Riolu and Lucario alike) to have this ability and it was this fact alone that intrigued many, namely Nocturne.
